InventHelp Inventor Develops Improved Firefighter Hood (LOS-600)

PR Newswire

PITTSBURGH, May 12, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- "As a firefighter, I wanted to create a new hood accessory that would offer maximum protection when battling brush fires," said an inventor, from Simi Valley, Calif., "so I invented the NEXT BREATH. My design would serve as an improved respirator to guard against breathing in smoke and other airborne contaminants."

The invention provides an improved firefighter hood for over the nose and mouth when battling a brush fire. In doing so, it would filter out smoke and other contaminants for comfortable and safe breathing while battling a brush fire. It also would protect the head against heat and flames. The invention features a fireproof design that is easy to apply and use so it is ideal for firefighters, fire departments, the military, etc. Additionally, a prototype model and technical drawings are available upon request.

The original design was submitted to the Los Angeles sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
