Award-winning author Clifton Brusso, a direct descendant of Alexandre Dumas, creator of “The Three Musketeers” and other classics, announces the release of his new publication combining two books into one: “From Dyslexic to Doctor” (Book 1) and “A Good Trick If It Works” (Book 2).

“From Dyslexic to Doctor” (Book 1) introduces readers to dyslexia therapy. The story begins with a young boy named Tom accidentally shooting his grandfather while playing Cowboys and Indians with a loaded gun he found in a drawer. Tom struggles in school until a teacher discovers he has dyslexia, setting him on a path to success and eventually helping children with dyslexia around the world.

“A Good Trick If It Works” (Book 2) tells the story of Arvo, a Finnish immigrant who moves to Calumet, Michigan, and becomes a moonshiner. He struggles to find his place in the Copper Country of Michigan's Upper Peninsula while discovering a new way of life and opportunities in America.
