14th Annual IGC Vendor Expo turns a day of connection into lasting support for children and families, lifting total giving to more than $375,000 since 2017.
CHICAGO, Nov. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- When a child is seriously ill, families need more than world-class medicine – they need a community standing behind them. This year, FirstService Residential and the vendor participants in its In Good Company (IGC) program answered that call, raising $65,000 for Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago through the 14th Annual IGC Vendor Expo. The gift brings the group's total support for the hospital to more than $375,000 since 2017.
This year's Expo brought together 92 In Good Company vendor participants, FirstService Corporation affiliates and industry partners, alongside FirstService Residential associates and building engineers. The day included education, connection and collaboration – all united by a shared commitment to the Chicagoland children and families.
Beyond the fundraising, the Expo also featured educational programming for attendees, including a legal seminar and a presentation from ACR Restores on managing stress, maintaining perspective and building happiness in everyday life.
What began as a way to bring industry partners together has grown into something far more meaningful. Year after year, the IGC community has chosen to turn its support for FirstService Residential managed communities into a tangible force for good. Every dollar raised helps Lurie Children's continue caring for young patients and supporting their families through some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
Behind the $375,000 milestone are hundreds of individual acts of generosity – vendors who sponsor, partners who show up and associates who give their time and energy because they believe their work should make a difference beyond the buildings they serve.
"Every year, our IGC partners show us what generosity really looks like," said Jen Yang, Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships at FirstService Residential. "Behind every dollar is a child getting the care they need and a family who knows they're not alone. Raising $65,000 this year – and more than $375,000 since 2017 – is something our entire organization can be incredibly proud of."

"Visiting Lurie Children's and seeing the care that happens there every day makes this partnership deeply personal for all of us," said Brian Butler, President at FirstService Residential. "Our work is rooted in the communities we serve, and there is no more important part of any community than its children. As a team member of FirstService Residential and as a parent myself, I'm proud of our associates, vendors and partners for coming together with such heart for this critically important cause. We look forward to continuing this support for years to come."
